Literature Text

Let's have a drink,
And go for a drive,
We'll wander down the country side.

Walk bare foot,
And run through cold dew,
Talk about the lives we once knew.

Take a shot,
And we'll look over the sea,
And ramble about who we want to be.

Hold my hand,
Back to your father's truck,
And pray to God we don't get stuck.

Sit back on the hood,
And we'll watch the stars,
Wonder how many dots above there are.

Away we go,
Back up to the dirt road,
And take the old route back to home.

We'll be the same forever,
You promise you will never change,
I hope to God it will stay the same.
Just a random write of mine.

This seems like a promise for me. It's wonderful though,
